What shock clicks can and cannot fix

Adjustable shocks and dampers change how quickly load moves across the car. They can make a car accept braking, turning, and throttle inputs better, but they do not create unlimited grip. If the tire is overworked because pressure, camber, spring, bar, or line is wrong, shock clicks may only hide the issue for one phase of the corner.

Think in transient response

Compression and rebound are most useful when the car is moving into or out of a load state: braking, turn-in, rotation, throttle pickup, and transitions. If the problem is steady-state mid-corner grip, shocks may still help, but tire temperature, camber, pressure, and roll balance deserve attention too.
